Make often & imperfectly
We’re currently working on large-scale beach drawings, expanding our Sand Series. These are usually started around high tide then plotted and drawn-out over a few hours. Size varies based on design and if there are others assisting in the patterning. Usually it’s just the two of us and a few delighted (or indifferent) passers by.
Through all the projects we do, seems we are forever encouraging grown-ups to play more. We can all get wrapped up in adulting and what that looks like. Play is normally seen as something children do, but what if instead of stopping when we get older, we kept playing and getting better at it. Stop assuming we know the facts, try a task we don’t have optimized, and get messy. We don’t know if it’s a good idea but it’s fun for us, so maybe it’s fun for others, as well.
The random things that you don’t know how to do but would like to, is what we encourage and are out there exploring, ourselves.
